JEFA Tech Low Loss 400 FLEX is recommended for applications where the coax cable will be in motion, for example, beam antennas that are on a rotator, short patch cables to go from your patch panel to radio equipment, or mobile applications such as land vehicles, boats and ships. Low Loss 400 FLEX has the same dimensions as Low Loss 400, but it features a stranded copper center conductor which will not break under repeated motion, a foam dielectric and double shielding for low signal loss and interference rejection, and a UV protected Thermoplastic Elastomer Jacket which is soft and flexible as compared to a Polyethylene Jacket. It is not recommended for direct burial.

For maximum performance in a permanent (non moving) installation, standard Low Loss 400 (LL400) with the solid center conductor is recommended. For installations that will have the cable in motion such as around a rotor, Low Loss 400 FLEX is recommended.
