Q:Why does my connection switch from the repeater to the local park’s WiFi network?

The reason why it changes to the local park network is that your computer saves the settings for all WiFi networks that it connects to. If you have more than one saved network that is active in the area, your computer may decide on its own to switch from one to the other. The only way to get it to stop doing that is to “forget” the settings of the local park network. Here’s how:

In Windows 10
Open settings – easiest way is to type “settings” in the search box at the bottom left
Choose Network & Internet
Choose WiFi
Choose Manage Wi-Fi Settings
Select the WiFi network you want to forget and click “Forget”

On an iPhone or iPad:
Go to the settings App
Choose WiFi
Press the (i) button next to the network to forget
Choose “Forget”
