JEFA Tech Low Loss 400 FLEX Cable AssemblySKU: CA-400F-C1-C2-1
JEFA Tech Low Loss 400 FLEX is recommended for applications where the coax cable will be in motion, for example, beam antennas that are on a rotator, short patch cables to go from your patch panel to radio equipment, or mobile applications such as land vehicles, boats and ships. Low Loss 400 FLEX has the same dimensions as Low Loss 400, but it features a stranded copper center conductor which will not break under repeated motion, a foam dielectric and double shielding for low signal loss and interference rejection, and a UV protected Thermoplastic Elastomer Jacket which is soft and flexible as compared to a Polyethylene Jacket. It is not recommended for direct burial.
- 50 ohm impedance
- .405" outer diameter (same as RG-8, RG-213, LMR-400, etc)
- Lightweight, Flexible
- Thermoplastic Elastomer Jacket - softer, more flexible than polyethelene - full waterproofing and UV Protection
- Stranded Copper (7 x 0.036") Center Conductor
- Double Shielded for low loss and interference rejection
- First Shield: Bonded aluminum foil with 100% coverage
- Second Shield: Tinned copper braid with 98% coverage
- Foam Dieletric - adds to flexibility and performance
- 5 year warranty, 10+ year life expectancy
- Uses same size connectors as RG-8, RG-213, LMR-400 size cable, including standard PL-259's

Note that you are trading a small amount of performance to gain flexibility. For maximum performance in a permanent (non moving) installation, standard Low Loss 400 (LL400) with the solid center conductor is recommended. For installations that will have the cable in motion such as around a rotor, Low Loss 400 FLEX is recommended.
We stand behind the quality and performance of the cable and offer a 30 day money back guarantee.
See spec sheet for cable dimensions and full attenuation ratings.
QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE: This cable is professionally assembled and tested in our manufacturing facility in Maryland, USA! We stand behind the quality and performance of our cables. Our cables are guaranteed to be of the highest quality and performance or your money back.
PRODUCTION DETAILS: You are purchasing a completed cable assembly with connectors professionally attached to the cable. The ends are soldered and crimped, heat shrink is applied to seal the cable to the connector and provide additional support and the cable is then tested to ensure proper assembly and performance.
We use Agilent N9912A RF Analyzers for cable sweep testing.
SAME DAY SHIPPING: These cables are built-to-order. We have an optimized production line for these assemblies so most orders will ship the same day!
Since these cables are built-to-order, they are not returnable if you make a mistake when choosing the connector types or length. To see pictures of connectors, please see the connector identifier link at the top of the website. If you need assistance, please contact us.
