Repeater XR and XR PLUS – How to change the “admin” configuration password

The JEFA Tech Repeater XR consists of two devices, the PICO outdoor antenna and the AIRGATEWAY indoor access point.  These are managed independently.  If you want to change the default admin password, you must change it on both devices.  Here’s how:

First you will change the password on the AirGateway at http://192.168.123.2

1. Log into the AirGateway at http://192.168.123.2
2. Click the System Tab
3. Under System Accounts, click the key icon
4. Enter the current password (default is admin), enter the new password and verify the new password
5. At the bottom right, click the Change button
6. At the top right, click the Apply button

Now repeat the steps for the PICO at http://192.168.123.1

1. Log into the PICO or BULLET at http://192.168.123.1
2. Click the System Tab
3. Under System Accounts, click the key icon
4. Enter the current password (default is admin), enter the new password and verify the new password
5. At the bottom right, click the Change button
6. At the top right, click the Apply button

PLEASE WRITE YOUR PASSWORD DOWN SO YOU DON’T FORGET IT!
