For the Amateur Radio market, JEFA Tech RG-8X is ideal for HF and VHF portable operation when small cable size and flexibility is important. RG-8X is great for portable operations when a high performance, yet light and flexible cable is required. It is the same cable as our Low Loss 240 Flex. Why one cable with two names? It has signal lower loss and is more flexible as compared to Low Loss 195. It has an overall outside diameter of 0.154 inches. It features a stranded copper center conductor which will not break under repeated motion and provides greater flexibility, a foam dielectric and double shielding for low signal loss and interference rejection, and a UV protected, Polyethylene jacket.
