This is the repeater unit that is included in our Wi-Fi repeater kits. You can purchase this separately as a replacement part, or for your own custom application.
The Repeater Unit comes with two removable 3dBi "rubber duck" antennas. They are not pictured, but they are included.
Includes one year of tech support and free firmware updates for this major version (2.x).

1. THE REPEATER DOES NOT WORK WITH DIRECTIONAL ANTENNAS
2. THE REPEATER DOES NOT WORK WHEN MOUNTED INSIDE A FULLY ENCLOSED METAL BUILDING WHEN TRYING TO PULL IN AN OUTSIDE SIGNAL USING AN EXTERNAL ANTENNA
The primary antenna must be able to communicate with both the remote access point and the clients it is serving or performance will suffer.
We have performed extensive testing with directional antennas and IT DOES NOT WORK. A repeater is not the best solution for this type
of situation. You need to either use an omnidirectional antenna or
if you want to use a directional antenna, you must use a bridge connected to a separate access point
like we offer in this kit. The same issue applies to mounting the repeater in a fully
enclosed metal building with any type antenna outside. The signal will not be able to penetrate the metal skin of
the building. Again, a bridge kit is your best option in this case.
